๐ฆ Mail-In Service โ Nationwide
Can't get to Lakewood? Box it up and send it in. The same micro-soldering techs who repair HDMI ports in-shop handle mail-in repairs too โ with a fast turnaround and optional shipping insurance.
Mail-In Process
From request to repaired console, here's exactly what happens.
Fill out the form below with your console and the issue. We'll email you a shipping and insurance quote, along with a payment link โ pricing depends on your address, package size, and declared value.
Once paid, we email your prepaid shipping label right away. Follow our packing guide below, attach the label, and drop it off.
Our techs confirm the HDMI port issue and complete the micro-soldering repair fast โ the same process we use for in-shop repairs.
Your console ships back working, with tracking, as soon as the repair is complete and tested.
Before You Ship
Most shipping damage happens from a console shifting around inside the box during transit, not from drops. Pack it so it genuinely cannot move.
Your PS5 or Xbox is valuable, and shipping always carries some risk of loss or damage, even when packed well. We strongly recommend adding shipping insurance for both legs of the trip โ to us and back to you.
Get Started
Tell us about your console and the issue. We'll follow up with a shipping and insurance quote within one business day.
EZ Gadget Repair is not responsible for any data loss that may occur as a result of a lost package in transit or during the repair process. We recommend backing up any important saved data, game saves, or account information before shipping your console, when possible.
Nationwide Mail-In Service
EZ Gadget Repair accepts mail-in HDMI port repairs from customers anywhere in the United States โ not just the Tacoma area. If you can't find a local shop with real micro-soldering equipment, shipping your console to us is often the fastest path to a lasting fix.
The PlayStation 5's HDMI port is soldered directly to the motherboard, and a damaged port is the most common cause of "No Signal" or a black screen. We accept mail-in PS5 HDMI port repair from across the country, using the same micro-soldering process as our in-shop repairs โ full port replacement, bent pin correction, and a 4K/HDR signal test before your console ships back.
Xbox Series X and Series S consoles use the same delicate surface-mount HDMI design as the PS5, and are just as prone to port damage from cable stress or impact. Our mail-in Xbox HDMI repair service covers both Series X and Series S, with full micro-soldering and signal testing included.
Older consoles are welcome too. We accept mail-in HDMI port repair for PS4 and PS4 Pro, as well as dock port repair for Nintendo Switch โ both common failure points that most general repair shops aren't equipped to fix.
Most repair shops decline console HDMI repair entirely because it requires micro-soldering equipment and training most generalists don't have. Mailing your console to a specialist shop โ even one across the country โ is often faster and more reliable than searching for a local shop willing to attempt the repair, and our 90-day warranty travels with the repair no matter where you're shipping from.
