Please read before shipping your console to EZ Gadget Repair.

By submitting a mail-in repair request and shipping a device to EZ Gadget Repair ("we," "us," "our"), you ("customer," "you") agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not ship your device to us.
You are responsible for packaging and shipping your device to us, and we are responsible for shipping it back to you once repair is complete. Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) are independent third parties, and loss or damage in transit can occur even with careful packaging.
HDMI port and other hardware repairs, including micro-soldering, can in rare cases affect a device's storage or software. We recommend backing up any important data, saved games, or account information before shipping your console whenever possible. It is the customer's responsibility to back up data prior to shipment; we do not back up, transfer, or recover data as part of this service.
Turnaround estimates provided on our website or by our team are estimates only, not guarantees. Actual repair time may vary based on parts availability, diagnostic findings, and repair volume.
A shipping and insurance quote will be provided after intake and must be paid before a prepaid label is issued. Repair costs, if separate from shipping, will be quoted and must be paid before the device is returned, unless otherwise agreed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EZ Gadget Repair's total liability for any claim related to a mail-in repair — including but not limited to shipping loss, shipping damage, or repair outcome — is limited to the lesser of (a) the cost of the repair paid by the customer, or (b) the fair market value of the device at the time it was shipped to us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost use, or lost time.
If a repaired or diagnosed device is not claimed (return shipping arranged and any balance paid) within 30 days of completion notice, we may charge reasonable storage fees or, after 60 days, consider the device abandoned in accordance with applicable state law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you ship your device applies to that repair.
Questions about these terms can be directed to EZ Gadget Repair before shipping your device.
